#8 narrative

I watched a nature show over a group of macaques, which is a group of smaller monkeys that inhabit areas from northern Africa all the way to Japan. The chronicles their daily life as they band together in as family members, hunting and gather food, and defending their territories from invaders. A unique aspect that the show highlighted was their interaction with different but neighboring species of monkey. While they had different vocal sounds, they would be in groups of up to 7 different species, and were able to communicate to each when danger approached in the form of predators. They had a somewhat heirachial relatioinship, with elders being the higher ranked of the families.
